My Verizon router went down and they sent me a new one. Everything is running fine except that I have to ask it to join the wireless network every time I start it up. The problem must be in the preferences but I can't find it.
I'm running a new 20" iMac.

In the Network pref pane, select Advanced and make sure your network is listed under "Preferred Networks" in the Airport tab. |

I'd also like to know which Mac OS version he's running. If I recall correctly, older versions were more prone to forgetting this setting. |
