Hi NG,
my powerbook dose not switch on if there is no battery inserted. Even when it is connect with the power plug it dose not turn on with a empty battery slot. I loads the battery normal and works normal with the battery.
Is it always like this?
If not - what can cause this?

Not normal at all. Perhaps try resetting the PMU (power management unit).
